7:00 pm- After my morning stretches and our coffee Steve decided to hoist me up the mast to change a bulb seeing that it was calm.
It is always a gorgeous view from up above. Didn’t bring my camera though. 2:00 pm- The wind started coming from the North and it was getting a little bumpy so we moved to the other side where we would be more protected.
11:00 am- Seeing that we have time on our hands, we decided to lift all our floor boards and clean the bilge. We store food and beer under the floor.
Good thing we checked because there were a few beer cans that bursted. At least it did not go in the bilge since they were in a closed container. Poor Steve had to say goodbye to a few of his beers. One job we won’t need to do when we get GaYa out of the water.
We also washed all the Bimini windows and now look so clear. Amazing how the salt coats them.
7:00 pm- Dinner tonight is chicken, stuffing, cranberries and salad.
After the sun set, the sky lit up with multiple colours.
It is unfortunate that everyone is in quarantine. It sure changes the atmosphere. The last time we were here, things were alive and everyone would socialize. Interesting how the pandemic not only changed the mood back home but it also affected here in the Bahamas. As I look at the different flags on everyone’s boat whether Canadian, US, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, we as a world are all affected. Strange how one virus has united us in working together to resolve this issue. We can only hope it will be resolve soon.
Before going to bed, we watched a couple of episodes of Norseman. It is so funny. Nice to watched something that makes you laugh during this time.
We will be leaving in the morning.
