Happy Birthday to both my daughters, Natalie and Nicole. Can’t believe they are 41 today.
8:00 am- We didn’t rush out of bed this morning since we knew the winds have picked up during the night. They are coming from the east. It was cloudy but at least not raining. Steve made water and read while I painted. We also took the time to clean behind the stove. Steve has to lift it out in order for me to get behind it. It can get sticky if you don’t stay on top of it.
1:30- We decided to chance it and go to Chat and Chill for fries and a drink. Wasn’t too bad going. Not that many people on the beach. We feel sorry for those who come for a weekly trip. Not the greatest week to be here if you are looking for sun and heat.
While we were at the beach, Steve figures he would fill the dinghy fuel tank rather than do it in waves. You have to make the best of each day regardless of the weather
We got a little wet coming back but we took a nice hot shower when we returned.
I had Steve fix a few things like one of the drawers needed gluing. It is nice to have time to repair things as they break.
After dinner I noticed the winds read 30 mph. Steve was having a difficult time keeping the barbecue lit. We thought it was because of the wind but found out the barbecue ran out of propane. No problem, we have 3 - 10 pound tanks on board.
After watching the sunset, we watched TV before going to bed.
