February 7, 2020- Little Farmers Cay

February 7, 2020 Leaving Black Point for Little Farmers Cay
2:30am-  What a night! The noise of everything creeping and cracking from the boat going side to side and up and down on thee waves. All I can say is I am so glad I have my sea legs otherwise I would be one sick puppy.  I figured out a way to sleep on my stomach with one leg out 90 degrees to stabilize myself. Not getting much sleep.
3:00am- Looking out the boat,, with the bright  moon lighting up the sky, I noticed every boat bouncing. I am keeping an eye on one particular one because I think their anchor is dragging and they are getting a little closer. The good things is they have their lights on and they are up on the guard also.
7:00an- Got our of bed and Steve and I looked like we went hey the ringer. You walk across the boat like you are drunk. We will be ready to leave once Karen and Robert are ready.
8:00am- Anchors are and off we go to Little Farmer’s Cay.
9:45am.- We covered 10 kn miles and anchored off of Oven Rock   So many boats here for the regatta. Robert counted over 60 boats. Should be fun.
Steve had to tighten the set screws in the auto pilot gears after we anchored.

10:30am-  I went to the beach on the dinghy to explore the area. I heard from others while I was on the beach, that here was a cave with stalagmite.  I picked up Steve and went back to explore   It was a hot walk but worth it.

Robert and Karen met up with us. We then went to a beach of the east shore of Great Guana where we were 1/2 mile from the staring point of the Five F race. (First Friday of February at Farmers Festival).  They would the race thru the anchored boats. Quite exciting.

4:00pm-  Steve made water until we went to Karen and Robert’s boat for dinner for 5:30pm. . We didn’t stay too long since we were all so tired of the lack of sleep last night.
What a gorgeous night. We stayed up until 8:00pm.
