February 3 and 4, 2020 - Two days in Cambridge

February 3, 2020 - Leaving Warderick
6:30am- Got up to watch the sun rise  A calm but a little cool day.

8:30am-  We left the park and heading to Cambridge Cay with Bellaventure is along side of us. The seas were so calm so we decided to go on the outside on Exuma Sound rather than the flats.
8:45am- Just  crosses a duel ship which probably just came back from provisioning Georgetown.

10:00am- We arrived at Cambridge Cay and there was no tower for wifi. What a gorgeous spot which has moorings for $35 / night. We covered 10.5 kn miles today.
A park warden goes around the boats to let boaters know to go on line to pay for the mooring.

We had such a great afternoon. We went snorkelling at the Coral Garden with Karen and Robert at the southeastern end of Cambridge Cay just inside Conch Cut.

We later went for a walk along the beautiful trail on Cambridge Cay.

We were so disappointed with all the plastic garbage along the beach

I was happy o find my first buoy.

4:30pm-  Steve and I were starving when we got back so we had an early dinner. I made Buffalo Chicken casserole. I then played guitar for him.
We watched the sunset while having our coffee.
6:15pm- We took our dinghy and invited ourselves on Karen and Robert’s boat for a game of  Chicken Foot with the domino set.
8:15pm- Came back and started watching another series but Steve said it was a Hallmark series.
I downloaded all our footage from the drone and diving videos from GoPro onto my PC and updated my blog even though we still do not have access to our data. The cell tower is still down.
What a lovely night.

February 4, 2020
For some reason I woke at at 5:30am, so I did my daily stretching routine and watch the sun rise. I decided to make sour dough bread and started the process today. It is along process but if it turns out, it will be rewarding.
The cell tower for wifi data was working on and off this morning so I managed to get a few email and connect.
Steve made some water while we cleaned the boat for a couple of hours. Around noon, Karen, Steve and I went looking for a few more snorkelling sites. There was too much surge and waves for the spots indicated on a map which Karen had. After about an hour lurking around the different spots, Steve decided to go back to the spot they went yesterday since it would be much calmer and more protected. I decided to go back to the boat and do some painting.
2:30pm- We decided to go to the beach to fly our drone. I felt a lot more comfortable flying it from the ground than the water. We sure captured great footage.
I worked on my bread all day. What a success. We had a sample of the bread at dinner and it was so good.

After dinner, Karen and Robert dripped by and we showed them all the drone and go pro footage.
We discussed leaving in the morning.
I watched a lost in Space while Steve read before going to bed. M
